A port is in use
ferryd cannot listen on an address, because another program has it.
What you see
Error: cannot listen on 0.0.0.0:80 (proxy address)
Caused by:
Address already in use (os error 98)Why it occurs
Another program, frequently a web server, listens on that address.
The message tells you which address: proxy, HTTPS proxy or API. These are the addresses of the proxy and of the API. The error number is 98 on Linux and 48 on macOS.
How to repair it
Find the program that has the port.
sudo ss -ltnp 'sport = :80'Then choose one repair.
