Set up the CLI

The ferry command sends each of your commands to the API of your server.

You type a command in a terminal.

ferry is the CLI of Ferry. Each command is a request to the API of ferryd.

Thus the CLI works on the server, on your laptop or in a CI job. It only needs to reach the API through HTTP.

Connect it to your server

Terminal

ferry login --server http://127.0.0.1:7878

The CLI reference lists each command and each option. To deploy your first app, read the Quickstart.

Live updates

The dashboard keeps one connection open to the server. Each change shows on the screen with no reload.

Install the CLI

The ferry binary comes from the same build as ferryd. You copy it to the machines that control Ferry.
