Getting startedInstallation
Start the server
The command ferryd starts the server in the background and prints its addresses.
Run ferryd
ferryd needs the Docker daemon. Run it as a user that can use Docker.
Terminal

Make sure that it answers

The banner is the text that ferryd prints at each start.

Docker | The CPUs and the memory of the Docker host |
Data | The data directory. ferryd creates it at the first start. |
Limits | The memory and CPU limits of each container, if its service or datastore sets no other value |

Possible causes: Docker does not run, or another program uses a port. ferryd prints the error and stops with exit code 1. See Troubleshooting.
