A restart is a new deploy with the trigger restart. It uses the image of the live deploy again. It builds nothing.

What a restart applies

A restart brings your saved changes to a service that runs:

ferry env set and ferry env-group set restart the service for you.

The service must have a live deploy.

Restart a service shows the steps of a restart. Deploys explains rollbacks, cancels and statuses.

Resume a service

A resume starts the instances of the live deploy again. There is no new deploy and no build.

Resource limits

Each container has a limit of memory and CPU. One bad app cannot stop your server.
